Middle School Feeder Patterns
- Fort Elementary, Davis Elementary and Cherry Elementary students attend Ouida Baley Middle School.
- Miss May Vernon Elementary, Scott Elementary and Herndon Elementary students attend Summers Middle School.
In May of 2021, Royse City ISD voters approved a bond package to address projected student enrollment growth. Along with additions and expansions to existing schools, the plan included a new, larger school replacement for Ruth Cherry Elementary to be located in Verandah Estates. As a result, new elementary boundary zones were developed and adopted for the 2022-23 school year. Middle school feeder patterns did not change as a result of the elementary rezoning.
