- Welcome

The purpose of this dashboard is to provide our Royse City ISD families and staff with a transparent summary of COVID-19-related positive cases resulting in exclusion from school activities. A positive case indicates that the student or staff member has been tested and received a report confirming that they have the virus. These individuals will be isolated for a minimum of 10 days before returning to campus.
Royse City ISD will send letters through Family Access to all parents if a positive case is reported on campus. If it is determined that anyone has been exposed to COVID-19 through "close contact", separate letters will be sent to those individuals. Royse City ISD will protect all information as related to a person's health and privacy. The below data will be updated regularly by RCISD Administration.

- Details on How RCISD Will Respond to COVID-19 Cases on Campus
Per RCISD Legal Counsel: For cases under 10, Royse City ISD will report numbers as an aggregate to help protect the identity of our students and staff. RCISD will personally contact individuals who may have come in close contact (as defined by TEA) with a lab-confirmed positive case on campus. If you are NOT directly contacted, then you are NOT someone who was identified as having close contact with a positive individual.

When an individual who once tested positive is safe to return to campus, will these numbers go down?
When a person recovers and is cleared to return to school, they are no longer considere a Lab-Confirmed Postiive Case for the purposes of this dashboard. That case will transition to the "cleared to return" category.
