The Royse City ISD Board of Trustees is comprised of seven board members who are elected by the general public to serve for overlapping terms of three years each. RCISD Board members are not compensated for their service on the board. Elections for board seats are conducted annually each May. Once elections are finalized the Board elects a president, vice-president and secretary for one-year terms. In 2016, the RCISD Board was named a Texas Honor Board Top 5 in the state.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be enforced and limited attendance may be required. Meetings will be held in person unless otherwise noted on the meeting agendas.

The organization’s basic tenants are: Manhood, Accountability, Inspiration, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift. AAMP-92 is an all-volunteer charitable organization that focuses on various multifunctional programs to help disadvantaged youths realize their dreams through mentoring and educational awareness. AAMP 92 was established to help promote education, mentorship and provide resources to deserving communities.

Mr. Summers is currently the longest serving member on the board and previously served six years as board president. Namesake for RCISD's Bobby Summers Middle School in Fate, Texas.
