For Returning Students
Online Back to School Forms for all returning RCISD students will be published in July 2020 in Family Access. This process replaces paper packets and makes registration faster and easier for families with multiple students. If you do not know your Family Access login credentials, please email FamilyAccessSupport@rcisd.org and include your child’s name and campus. Using Family Access, parents will have real time data about their child’s grades, attendance, assignments and more. Alerts can be set to your individual preferences and the information is easily accessed using the Family Access.
If you have a new child entering school this year, you can add them in your already existing Family Access account. For Family Access help or login credentials, please email FamilyAccessSupport@rcisd.org or contact Maria O’Connor at 972.635.5020. Be sure to include your name, your child’s name and the campus of attendance.
For New Students
New student enrollment for 2020-2021 begins on April 1 for PreK to 12th grade. If you arleady have a child in RCISD, you can add them to your existing Family Access Account. Please do not create a new one. See PreK/Kinder Roundup Info for 2020-2021. If your child was already in RCISD PreK they do not need to attend the Round Up or compelte new student enrollment. They may compelte Back to School Forms in July with all other returning families.
Students who previously attended RCISD and moved to a different school need to contact a campus registrar to re-enroll. You'll need to provide updated proof of residency, guardian photo ID and complete Back to School Forms in July.
Students must live within the boundaries and meet state age and health requirements. A student is required to attend school in the attendance zone in which the family resides. Incoming new kinder families should contact your zoned school.
