Royse City ISD Chief Academic Officer Named Royse City ISD is pleased to announce Dr. Amy Anderson as Chief Academic Officer (CAO). Dr. Anderson has 26 years of experience in education and is a proven leader in the development of curriculum and instruction as well as leadership development. She served neighboring Rockwall ISD for 20 years, most recently as CAO of secondary schools. Dr. Anderson was a senior associate for N2 Learning where she helped develop campus and executive district leaders from across the state and she serves as a principal program coordinator for the University of Texas at Arlington.

She will no doubt honor and build upon the legacy of academic excellence of her predecessor,” said Superintendent Kevin Worthy. “Dr. Anderson is a knowledgeable and experienced district administrator with direct experience in fast growing schools. Her experiences, coupled with a relationship-oriented leadership style, make her a great addition to our high performing team.”
Dr. Anderson will transition to this new role in Royse City ISD in July of 2022. A competitive field of 36 applicants pursued this position.
Royse City ISD Chief Technology Officer Named Joining the Bulldog Family later this summer is Brieanna Kayser as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Mrs. Kayser currently serves Community ISD as Director of Technology and joins Royse City ISD with 15 years of experience in school district technology roles.
A United States Army Veteran, Mrs. Kayser brings a wealth of military and civilian technology experience. She replaces outgoing CTO, Zach Allen, who has accepted a position in Celina ISD.
“As a fast growing district, it is vital that the technology and connectivity of our schools can meet the needs of students and teachers. We are excited to welcome Mrs. Kayser to our team to lead the Technology Department,” said Superintendent Kevin Worthy. “We are thankful for the work completed by Zach Allen and we look forward to the continued success that will follow under Mrs. Kayser’s leadership.”
